Treadmill reviews
AFG 7.1 AT Treadmill
"Before buying I went to a few stores and ran on a # of different treadmills as per the best advice.
More Power, comfort and support Non-Folding platform frame built with heavy gauge steel so it wont shift or creak during the most intense exercise sessions. Extra-Large 20" x 60" running surface supported with a 1 inch deck and active response cushioning. Built-IN entertainment passport media player, the ultimate fitness immersion experience. ipad//iphone/ipad connectivity premium 5W speakers
"After 4 months, we don't really have a single major complaint with this machine... It is getting much quieter with some breaking time on it now and it was very quiet to begin. We are very happy with this treadmill so far, I love it for doing intervals, and have even managed a couple of long runs on it. So I don't really have any reservations about recommending this treadmill to anyone considering it as a purchase at this point."

bh TS1 treadmill
"Hands Down My Best Buy. After a long search I found BH and was thrilled. This treadmill is rock solid and performs like a champ. Way better then my over priced previous treadmill... You will not be sorry its been great."
- Sam from Paramus, NJ, consumerreports.org
The BH TS1 is easy To Setup, and folds to take up less space when not in use. With Great Controls, a very Quiet motor and a Sturdy Design, this treadmill is a great product with a great price.

bh TS2 treadmill
"The ts2 is equipped with an X-Large blue backlit LCD display, an extra 2" of running surface and Polar Chest Strap Compatibility for Precise Workout Monitoring. The TS2 folding frame features BH's Safe Drop technology, and provides a space saving solution without sacrificing quality. these features, plus the great price makes the bh ts1 a treadmilladvice.com best buy!"
The TS2 has the great controls, whisper quiet motor, sturdy design and Active Flex Suspension System of the ts1 plus enhanced features. we consider it a solid contender for under $1,500.

bh t8 pro treadmill
"BH has 100 years of manufacturing history. Using this expertise, the BH T8 Series continues to be some of their very best products. Super solid construction, easy to use display and backed by an excellent warranty. With a lower price for this year, the BH T8 Pro is once again our HEAD OF THE CLASS (Best Treadmill under $3,500)."
The midrange T8 Pro is notable for its expansive running surface (60 x 22 inches) and it's squishy yet sturdy ride. The well-designed console puts all of the quick speed and incline controls within reach, so midrun adjustments are easy to make. We especially like how the treadmill complements the large deck with an open design that doesn't get in the way of even the most excessive arm swingers. horizon t101 treadmill
"I researched the hell out of treadmill before buying this one looking at costco, sams club, amazon, sears, etc and reading product reviews all over the internet. What sold me on this the most was the east of assembly and the sturdyness. My husband is 6'-2 and 300lbs. This has a 300lb deck and we have had no problems.
"Also what this offered over other models in the same class was 2" more of deck, a beafier motor and longer warrranty...all big pluses when you live in a rural area. A pleasant surprise on this model that wasnt listed was a cooling fan feature with three settings to at least move the air around your face when you get that heart pumping and a little sweat rolling down.
"This is a fold up model, but I would like it more if folded up a full 90 degrees, but even at an angle, this has one of the highest angles that I've seen, folding at about at 65-70 degree angle...very much out of the way. "
- Karen Best "Desertrat", amazon.com review
"I was very pleased with my purchase. I had researched treadmills quite a bit before deciding on the Horizon T101. Most of my research stated that this was a good value for the price point and I would have to agree. The unit is sturdy, smooth and quiet. I weigh 230 lbs and the T101 didn't have any issues. You will need 2 people to move the box. Assembling it was straight forward, 3 basic steps took about an 45 minutes to an hour."

horizon Ct 12.1 treadmill
This treadmill is made exclusively for Canadian Tire In Canada. We would suggest purchasing the T203 instead since it is a regular Horizon Fitness model and not a special order made for a mass merchant. This is a good deal if you find it for $799, otherwise look at the T203. Dont fall for the mass merchant trap of $2000 MSRP now $1000 off.. this treadmill was never worth $2000.
"Absolutely absurd MSRP." Treadmill Doctor
horizon t203 treadmill
The horizon t203, with it's generous running surface and solid frame, is a great treadmill for running. it has other nice features like i-pod integration, adjustable cushioning and 12 workout programs. along with that, the t203's quiet operation and reliability make it one of our choices for top five best buy treadmills. read more.

"After doing plenty of reading, a couple of visits to stores, and a realistic view of what I would be doing with a treadmill I decided I needed to have a 60" deck (I'm 6'3") and could use a budget machine (more on that below). I had a hard time deciding between this treadmill (T203), Pro-Form 995, and Schwinn 860. What it came down to was this one was flat out cheapest and was available on Amazon.
"I'm more into walking and a nice 5-6 mph jog for 20-30 mins, and the T203 has fit the bill so far setup in front of a TV. Once in a while I'll bump up the speed and stride it out, and this treadmill does fine but it can't compare to a really heavy machine for stability or oviously just running outside.
"Setup was fine, all screws went in with no drama and took about 30 mins. Very quiet and easy using manual settings. Then I applied the included silicone and it got even quieter. No rubbing parts, trim, etc. Incline motor is almost silent and very smooth in movements. The pre-set programs are decent, I'm not quite in the condition to run one all the way through but they are a nice template.
"As I'm writing this review my Feb. 2011 consumer reports magazine showed up with treadmill reviews... The T203 isn't in there but the almost identical T202 is and rated fairly well (8th out of 25 for folding models). That bodes well for this one I think. I'd say if you're under 5'9" and under 200lbs the T202 would be a great fit and for less, the most significant difference is the 55" deck -vs- the 60" on the T203, and a year less warranty on parts. Heck if all you want to do is walk, the T101 looks to be a great deal "

livestrong ls10.0T treadmill
"Let me just say that this is a really great quality treadmill with lots of good features for a very competitive price. there is a bit of a learning curve with the user interface and integrating with the usb drive. For example, it's easy to try and save your session on the USB stick and end up with blank session data when you load it into livestrong.com. But once you learn the ins and outs of the system you are good to go. There are also currently only 4 downloadable programs.
"Another complaint is regarding the fact that there is no visual display of the programs (like a bar or line graph showing you the entire program), so you have to either have the booklet out to know what's going to happen, have the program memorized or just go with the flow.
"Those are basically all of my complaints, but don't let the fact that I am complaining deter you. It's quiet for a treadmill, it's very sturdy and like I said at the beginning, this is a very well built machine with tons of features for the price range. No regrets here!"

merit 715t plus treadmill
this is probably one of the best low end treadmills you will find at this low affordable price point. However, although you'll get great value for your money, it is still an entry level treadmill so it doesn't have a lot of features. If you're looking for an affordable walking treadmill, then the Merit 715T Plus will suffice, but it's not built for runners or even taller people because of the smaller deck.

"I did a lot of research before buying this treadmill. The horsepower is about the most you can get (for the price). The warranty is good, and includes in-home repair (although you probably won't need it). The belt is both long and wide enough to be completely comfortable. I'm 220 (for now) and the treadmill feels very, very stable under me and the belt doesn't pull or anything. Got 45 minutes in yesterday and even jogged on it with no problem at all...
"Also, there is a place for a water bottle on each side of the console, as well as room to hold a book or Kindle so you can read while working out. The console is much, much larger than I expected, and the treadmill is larger and sturdier than I anticipated for the money...
"The only more expensive feature I miss a little is the automatic incline, but I can deal with having to set it by hand, and I wouldn't spend $200 more just to get this feature right now. If you want to get in shape, and don't have a ton of money to spend on a treadmill, you should buy this one. In fact, if you do have a lot of money to spend on a machine, I would still recommend this one. It's a good, solid, heavy treadmill. Get something else with the extra money you saved."
- E. Russo, amazon.com review
smooth 7.35 treadmill
the smooth 7.35 treadmill has a nice, large running surface, a very strong motor (3.0 CHP) great warranty and great design features (such as the handrail speed and incline adjustments). you get these features for a great value, but whether the slight upgrade from the Smooth 6.75 treadmill warrants the price jump ($300) is debatable.

"I expect next to zero problems and full customer support on anything that costs over 1000! Finally I ran into this new model, and I knew I had a winner. Delivery time was three weeks (I payed for placement inside the house). Unpacking and assembling was a breeze. Only high quality components. It says Made in Taiwan, which is a strong selling point for me nowadays. My wife and I tested it for a couple of hours and so far we love it. Very silent, and it does what it's supposed to do. Also, looks even better in real life than it does in the pictures. Not to mention the best warrantee on the market."

sole f85 treadmill
"This treadmill looks very nice and feels very solidly built. I was able to assemble myself in about an hour and everything lined up perfectly. It runs relatively quiet. The display shows all parameters (distance, time, calories, speed, etc) all at the same time. My old treadmill had one numeric display that would cycle these parameters. The lap display was also a very nice added feature. The integrated fans do not blow very hard, but provide a nice breeze. This treadmill has built-in speakers. While they won't please audiophiles, they are more than adequate for working out. The deck folds up smoothly with almost no effort.
Before you buy this model we strongly suggest you look at our best buy in this price!
"The only negative point about this treadmill is that the speed does not change very fast. This is most annoying when slowing down. It took about 45 seconds to slow from 6 mph to 2 mph. Perhaps this is a safety feature, I would have liked it to be a bit more responsive. It does speed up much faster than that, however."
- Chad Lowe, amazon.com review
the sole f85 is a 3.5 CHP motor machine with a large deck, meaning this is great for serious runners. we recommend also looking at the AFG 5.0 AT treadmill.
